2nd International Summer University for Older People
September 6-12, 2009, Universitat de les Illes Balears, Palma, Illes Balears, Spain.This year is the International Year of Astronomy and the bicentennial of Darwin, so we dedicate our summer university to sciences.

Summer University activities will take place on the UIB campus, which is 7,5 km from the centre of the city of Palma and can be reached by a public bus line as well by metro. The campus buildings include the university residence hall, several dining rooms and cafeterias, sports facilities, a chemist’s and medical service. Participants in the Summer University will have access to all facilities during established opening hours.
Cultural excursions will be offered to a number of different places on the island of Mallorca that have been selected for their cultural and scenic interest, so as to offer an overview of the island’s diversity.
